Selected Filter Option "Memory" Resets Across Page Changes (Bug), While Search Works Perfectly

I have a CMS list and filter on my CMS details page, which allows a user to navigate between CMS items, without leaving the page.

SEARCH WORKS CORRECTLY: I also have search functionality which is working perfectly at remembering my search option between pages:

FILTER MEMORY NOT WORKING: When I select a filter option, and select different pages, it resets the CMS list to all, while the filter I just selected stays active. When I switch to all, nothing changes, then I select my Filter option again, and it shows what it was supposed to show without 'resetting' or 'forgetting' my filter option.
